Don’t Leave the Hospitality Industry Out in the Cold

Today local employees of the restaurant industry, who have been very negatively impacted by Big Gretch’s lockdown restrictions, gathered at “The People’s Park” in Petoskey for a two-hour peaceful protest.

The goal of the assembly (great turnout, btw, despite the chilly, snowy weather) was to make their voices heard and to push “Lansing” to end the draconian restrictions prohibiting dine-in service in Michigan.

Although this was not a “political” event per se, the Emmet County Republican Party was proud to stand with these small business owners and their employees in their quest for common sense, limited government. We hope they return to work, soon! 9 and 10 news covered the protest.
