We wish you and yours an enjoyable Thanksgiving holiday! The next ECRP general meeting will be on December 2, 2019 at the Northern Lights Recreation conference room in Harbor Springs @ 7:00 pm. The speakers are Petoskey Salvation Army officers – Envoys Greg and Bethany Irwin – and Director of Community Resource Development Amy Evans. We invite you to come and to present our guests with non-perishable food items. Or, arrive early at 6:00 pm when the ECRP Executive Committee meets and conducts its business.
Today’s Life Chain, on US 131 and Sheridan in Petoskey, attracted a diverse crowd of about 50 people. The purpose of the chain is for Americans (holding appropriate placards) to publicly, prayerfully stand for babies who have lost their lives to abortion. The Life Chain takes place along designated sidewalks or high-traffic areas for one hour on October 6th. Pastor Rusty Chatfield, ECRP executive board member, pictured near the PP sign, participated. #lifeisabeautifulchoice
Vice President Mike Pence stopped at Pellston Regional Airport this past weekend. He was on his way to speak at the Mackinac Republican Leadership Conference which is held, biennially, on the Island. Mr. Pence greeted a crowd of about 100 who gathered on the runway to enthusiastically welcome him to Michigan. He patiently posed for photos, signed MAGA/Trump hats, and shook many hands. Quote from the Vice-President about President Trump: “He’s the real thing.” Shout out to Kelley Atkins, airport manager, who worked with the White House and made many phone calls to make the brief visit go very, very well. That’s Emmet County Commissoner Jim Kargol’s hand in the 3rd photo, btw. #Pence2024

ECRP chair Geri Szymanski participates in cheery bell ringing for the Salvation Army’s “Christmas in July” campaign @Louie’s Fresh Market.
Team ECRP in the Petoskey Fourth of July parade! Great job by Robert Igielski, Johnathon Klonowski, Ashley Richardson, and Janet Szymanski. Trump 2020 #MAGA2.0
And, natch, a fun, educational time was had by all who attended the annual GOP Emmet County shindig. Plan, now, to come next year to #18!
